"Vintage" as in 1960's original slot cars??

Probably not.

Could be interesting, and good to see.

Dunno if you'd get many starters outside of SA & Vic, seeing as you guys seem to be the only ones brave enough to race them.

We tried to run a series at Hornsby a while ago, only got a handful of starters, and some of those were using loaners.
Only went about 3 rounds...

Yeah, i'm not really into sourcing the old 1960's stock and racing it.
I was talking about reproduction stuff, like MJK (sorry i cant name other manufacturers of these, i'm new to these).

I guess it's about organising some big interstate races for these cars and evolving it from there!

:geek:

We have a big LeMans race each year which drags out a few guys from other tracks as well as Colin Hawkins and crew from WA. The cars raced are pre 64 (i think) GT cars with solid rubber tires MJK chassis' and Parma 16D motors.

Adelaide Model Raceway has a big race each year (see advertisement on the home page), but that is for the original stuff and they're not too keen on the MJK parts.
