DoSlot Brushless ESC's, Motor & Parts

Post by stoo23 »

Hi guys, DoSlot has developed some Brushless stuff and has now made it available via their Website.

See Here: https://www.doslot.de/shop/index.php?cP ... 1mjmpct3b1

There is also some info' posted on the UK Brushless Facebook page, (You will need to scroll down to find it)
https://www.facebook.com/groups/308254371195488

They recently Ran what would appear to have been a VERY successful "Spa 1000km" event for Hard Body Group C cars with one of their New Chassis with ALL Cars fitted with the New Brushless components, a Video of the event can be seen Here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/942796142476765/.

The Prices seem quite reasonable, with (I believe), overseas orders being able to subtract 19% of the 'Listed' price (being Local VAT/GST), but may obviously face Local Import costs, (If applicable).

ESC Price after subtracting Local Sales Tax and conversion from Euro's is around $55.00
3000kv Motor, (similar in performance to a 30,000rpm style Sealed Can Motor $23.80, which I guess is reasonable as it already has the Motor shaft fitted correctly for Slotting purposes.

The ESC, is (Once again based on the Same Circuit published some time ago by Peter Schmitt), with possible slight variations of Layout & componentry, compared to the Bob Budge/Richard Mack and West Rock Racing Machines units.

I like this kit, and the idea behind it.

If you're looking to get into brushless, but are a bit daunted by the cost of converting multiple cars here is your answer.
Buy a Do Slot kit for one car and you only need buy motors for your other cars. Spare Velcro mounts and lead wire with plug are available for virtual peanuts.
It's a simple job to swap the Velcro mounted plug and play ESC between your cars.
Cheers,
