Some time ago I got a Warmack Kit in exchange for services rendered and was just sitting on it with no plan to build it in any particular fashion. I have also recently built about 5 of these kits in various configurations for the HSC Flat track and the HSC Big Track (Hill Climb).
After these builds I decided to cut my kit up and build a new car for the King track - the brief to myself was to build a car that came in at 100 grams and was strong (and of course FAST).
So here it is: -
Rails comprised of four 18# wire as per my highly successful F1 chassis.
Chicago-land (Mike Swiss) rear bracket - IMO these are the absolute best!
I needed to add about 2 grams of lead to bring it up to spec.
I tested it in practice at the Brabham Trophy race and it was turning 3.950's (equal to my TQ time in the car I ran) consistently and was very smooth to drive.
It has slight tendency to 'pop' the front on occasion that will need sorting but for 5 minutes run time and no tuning as yet I think it has real potential.
