NSW State Titles Round #2 - Raceworld King Track

Hi All,

Well after the 1st round of the NSW Retro Titles at HSC it was off to Tuggerrah to shoot it out for Round 2.

Nine entries for this round and the format was Can Am Qualifying followed by F1 qualifying.

Can Am Qualifying
No prizes for guessing - 3.88 is my old mark and track record and I was doing a few 3.8's in practice and Cody was doing some fast times but it was not to be. Cody and myself got to sub 4's however.

First to break 4 sec with a F1 - Moi - new record.

Can Am Race
This race was run on the basis of all 9 being in the same race with one racer sitting out for two brackets before rejoining the fray.
Unfortunately the computer thingy spat the dummy and we did not get prints of the results - luckily Wayne had annotated the entry sheet and the results were as follows.

F1 Race
We decided (once the computer thingy got it's act together) to have two Mains of 4 starters (as Daryl had decided not to run as he again had motor issues).
1st Main

My car was an absolute missile and a dream to drive - new lap total record to go with TQ (beating Lindsay's Brabbham total of 335 laps by a lap).

Yes looks like you did pip my Brabham total by a lap, however I did notice that I did a 44 on Blue.

So need to update that one on Wayne's board as well.

Good work - that puts old farts across the board with Best Time, Top Laps in a bracket and Highest Lap Total
