HSC Retro rnd 5 14/6/2014

OK, I'm no Stoo, but I'll have a crack at this. No pics sorry.

A smaller turnout than we have been used to this year, but the racing was still hard and fast. A single race per class kept the marshalls busy and we thank them for the thick skin they put on to stand beside the track for us while we race.

Canam
With six entries this was a closely fought race. Andrew started with no drive (loose crown gear) which set him back a few laps but he still managed to have a good battle with Leigh for most of the race, with Leigh finally getting the better of him. Peter had a good run, jumping to 2nd early and eventually finishing fourth. The fight up front was between Mark, Justin and Brad with only 3 laps seperating them in the end in a really fun battle. Had Brad not had some trouble on red, this would have been even closer.

Another good race with 5 entries (come on andrew get an F1 together). Brad and Justin having a close fight for the first two positions, leading 4 brackets each and 3 feet apart with two brackets to go, with Justin finally getting up by a lap. Mark and Leigh also had a good fight for 3rd, with Peter a little further back.
