Goodbye

Post by brady »

Hello Gentlemen.I wanted to let you all know I will no longer be racing Slot Cars with you.For reasons I wont go into to much here, although travel is one.I cherish the day I walked into HSC and must thank all the brilliant people I have met there.Without their help I would not have had the enjoyment and success that I did have. The Retro part of my carer will remain top of the list.I must give special thanks to James who made it possible for us to keep going and must be disapointed at the numbers that turn up to meetings these days and I know my decision does not help.I write this because I did not want to become one of those who just didnt come back.I hope to stay in touch through this forum at least. Its time to start a new venture much closer to home.Getting emotional now, will see you all one day,Regards Brad.

I am Sure Everyone else will feel the same as myself.
I DO hope 'Things' ?? work out for/with yourself.

As suggested by yourself, PLEASE DO keep in touch via the Forum and let us all know how you are going etc
Has been a pleasure Knowing and racing with you.

Hi Brad,
Look after yourself.
I personally hope that you are simply resting for a while and not actually retiring. Always enjoyed your company on and off the track. Your advice and encouragement is always appreciated.
Cheers

Brad, that's a shock, and I hope you keep all of your gear, because it would be great to see you on the track sometime in the future.

Take it easy mate, and thanks again for the iron, that will be my reminder of you.

Let us know what you're up to... we might want to come and play.
;)

Hi Brad, the wife and I have just returned from a QLD wedding. on the way up and on return passing thru your neck of the woods I mentioned ,,",wow Brads got a long haul to get to the racing"!!!!!!!!! but I do think you live in a good spot.
your competitive spirit along with your willingness to share your knowledge has helped me and many others on numerous occasions,,,I thank you for the many close races we have enjoyed ,,,,which has made good racing into great racing. you are one of the few that I am glad to offer my spare cars,,,,and always would,,,,,I like to see the top racers using my stuff,,,then I can see how fast they can go
You will be missed,,but never say never,,,,,Darryl

Hey Brad,

I sincerely hope that you get to see this message.

Very sad to hear that you can not be with us and can only concur with your and my mates responses to your announcement. I can certainly understand the situation regards to the travel and I dearly hope that you can get some good diversions closer to home.

Completely gutted but understand that sometimes what we want and what is reasonably achievable may not be on the same page.

Like you say it was a great day that you (and the rest of us) stumbled into HSC and so we all then had the pleasure of each others company in the environment of a shared passion. I reckon that the Retro racing and the people participating has to a degree given me a lease of life - particularly in the post employment environment.

Well to sum it up Brad you sure know how to wreak a guys holiday but I know its not personal and I will annoy you big time in order to touch base in the future.

Really hope that this message finds you well and I wish you a happy and healthy future. I am really going to miss racing with you.

Your Friend Fox
Regards - Mark 8-)
