HSC 2016 Retro Series Rnd 5 - Flat Track - 11/06/2016

Well after a couple of months travel through the UK, France and Portugal (hey someone has to do it) I was back in Oz and ready to take up the controller again. What better place to start than at the home of Retro racing in Oz on the HSC flat track.

A field of 7 dictated two heats for CanAm and F1 and the track was in great condition to spark off some fast racing.

CanAm

Race 1 saw Gregg lead all the way with Matthew in hot pursuit whilst Joe was off the pace a little (Joe is certainly a Big Track specialist at HSC).

Race 2 saw a battle between Brad and myself with some fast race times (plenty of 5.0--s and 5.1--s) with Brad prevailing by 0.172 secs at the end on a good lap total of 179. Darryl held down third by a lap from a fast finishing James.

Race 1 saw Gregg smash it with a 14 lap win over Matthew and Joe

Race 2 Darryl and I saw off James and Brad; who both had a few issues along the way; with me prevailing after being able to have good runs on all lanes.
