This forum - draft - rules by Mark Fox - retro pro is towards the end - simple 100ft view:
- 790 rears - no weight limit. 1 inch wide steel allowed at front. Rear must have either axle tube or brass motor bracket. 600 dia front wheels - so JK fronts are OK.

Car is brass and/ or steel wire.

Hawk retro pro motor.

Without leadwire and braids - but with body and Pins - 67 grams - I expect all up no more than 71 grams

Cool - dont forget the bod must be a min of 5.5 grams.
What sort of bod have you got and where did you get it?

Body is a JK T122 Short - it is used - not new - testing at this stage hopefully today - does not have a diaplane - will see whether they are needed first.

Had a quick test, needs new tyres (rather than an old set that I had). Track was dusty so not ideal - car felt good ran 4.104 - but there is a lot left in it. Left the car with Wayne and he is going to test after the retro race next week. I am off to Darwin so wont be there.

Hi Lindsay
Went to the Retro Race this weekend past and had a drive of your Retro-Pro.
Very tasty car to drive indeed - this is going to be a fun class.
The car was great to drive and was quick and smooth.
I predict that these will be around 2/10 quicker that the CanAm class once we get them sorted due to the angle-winder configuration and the lighter weight together with the Retro-Pro bods providing a little more grip.
Great first effort on this format.
