Saw this 'post' on SlotBlog, about this Ebay item and as Hutch has mentioned a few idler gear cars,..one being of Dave Rittie's, Which I actually saw Race and had the magazine it was Featured in, (the G&D Brabham Trophy,..BUT, it wasn't as Mad as this one !!

I am waiting for the 4 wheel drive fluid coupled slot car.
Greate looking gadget but I would hate to have to calculate the losses each gear.
