I'm having a good run recently - only been out-qualified once in this series - by Joe on the HSC Big Track in Round 1 in F1! Final A
L-R Darryl, Mark, Lindsay, Neil and Joe Apart from the 1st bracket where I led by about 2 secs it was Darryl all the way. When he is in the groove he is really fast and smooth - no errors from him and finished 5 laps up on me followed by Lindsay 10 further back. Joe ran into trouble and did not finish unfortunately. Final B
L-R Matthew, Stoo, Peter and Brad Stoo started off like a rocket - his car was a real weapon in this race. Brad was in hot pursuit and took the lead in the 4th bracket and held on for a 1 lap win. Peter ran into some trouble retired early in the 7th bracket whilst Matthew put up a good showing for a relative newcomer to Retro on this very tricky track. The Wash-up

Re: NSW State Titles Round #3 - HSC Flat Track
Thanks very much for the race reports, Mark, and congratulations on your wins. It was obviously a very competitive series indeed! Kudos to all the guys in NSW who supported the series.
Re: NSW State Titles Round #3 - HSC Flat Track
Thanks for a great race report Mark, as usual and a big thanks to James and Wayne for running these races. Must mention that I believe a miss calc of the CAN AM point score totals which placed me and STOO tied with 48 points,on a 1st round decider , Stoo beat me by a point, thus Stoo has won third place in the can am. Shall return the trophy next race, congrats Stoo !

I think you won by nature of the last round win and equal points - I count you both as being on the same points.
Re: NSW State Titles Round #3 - HSC Flat Track
Very honorable Darryl but I concur with Lindsay - equal points but you had the win and therefore take the podium.

Darryll,...
Thankyou for the 'suggestion', but similarly to both Mark and Lindsay, the 'Overall' points put us Equal,.... BUT,.. a Win is a Win and as 'correctly' suggested by the others, rightly puts you ahead and after your Drive the other Night, a Most Deserving Winner as well !!
Congrats !!
I could do absolutely nothing about Mark and Brad in my Heat in CanAm and realistically didn't drive that well either.
Overall, I think the Quality of Racing and Driving by All in these three events was absolutely Fantastic, these were Very tough races and apart from the absolute 'Floor Wiping' Mark, Brad and Darryll occasionally Performed on the rest of us, was in fact incredibly close.
As has often proven to be the case over the years, whilst Mark seems to be having a 'run of Luck' of late, I conversely seem to be having a 'run of BAD Luck',.. sigh,..
As Mark suggested, my F1, was a Weapon, (as it was in the 1st round prior to the Axle foibles) and was pretty happy with my driving.
I had actually gotten back in front of Brad, when on Red, Only to be De-slotted by an Un-sighted car in the Esses and it unfortunately took some time and Shouting for Mark to Notice !!,..Grrr,.. allowing Brad to get back in front,.. ,...... so Close,.. yet So Far,..
Oh well,.. atleast I managed to set Fastest time on White in F1's,.. in fact Only beaten by Mark's CanAm times
Once again, Great racing by all and very appreciative thanks to James and Wayne, for 'hosting' the event/Series.

Hi Stoo
You and I know I was only being polite when I said I had a run of luck
See you all on the last round on the Flat Track in a couple of weeks.

Hello Everybody,It was a great series guys.We all had some bad luck,we all had some good luck, some more than others either way.Anything could happen and did.In the end I think the results were accurate for those who contested all three rounds. It was good to see a good roll-up for the final round. Thanks to James & Wayne for running the show,it was good fun and hard fought.Next year I hope we have 3 or 4 more who did'nt contest all 3 rounds this year reconsider for next.Congrats Mark on the win & great race reporting.Regards to you all,BRAD.

Hi gang
Couldn't agree with Brad more. Thanks to everyone involved. Hopefully by next year I might be up at the pointy end of the field.
