That was a really cool afternoon of racing! Thanks Geoff and all those who turned out to make such a great entry list.

It's amazing that G27 cars with single-magnet motors, long steel chassis, and running on spray glue are racing just as fast as the multi-magnet, short aluminium chassis on full glue ever did. Incredible! It's a lot easier on the cars and motors, too, and certainly it seems like the racing is no more chaotic. I think the marshals get a bit easier time too, which is nice.

All in all, racing on spray-glue seems like a great innovation. Well done to those who brought about the change.

Well said, Carl. It's great. It makes you wonder why we didn't think of it sooner! I have only raced wing cars since 2001 (or so) and I never thought of racing them any other way than with full glue. But on spray glue they are absolutely fine! When you see 11 people turn up for a G27 club race on a Saturday, it's really encouraging. The atmosphere was really good, too. It really was a nice afternoon to be hanging out with crazy hobby guys.

Btw, you should have seen how good was Russell's car. He had tuned it to perfection. As usual, he drove it beautifully and in a very sporting way. It's nice to see such excellent sportsmanship in such a constructive atmosphere. It's a credit to all concerned.
