Upcoming Retro Races At HSC.

Post by jcol56 »

The next Retro Race at HSC will be on Saturday, October 8th for Coupes & F1 (not October 15th). Racing starts at 7:00pm with Coupes, F1 straight after. Apologies for the error on the advertised calendar.
Also, as there was a race missed in June, the NSW State Titles shall count towards points as a club round.

James, I called you prior to the NSW State titles and you advised me that there would be no points awarded for this race to count towards the club rounds.
On your advice I entered into another commitment on the evening of the race instead of racing in the NSW titles.
I'm a little perplexed that a decision has been made after the results on the NSW race and contrary to our previous phone call.
Hardly equitable

Hey Charles,...

The Most Recent Race,..was actually the Retro Nat's,..NOT the State Titles, (which are scheduled for later this Year), which is the what James is referring to as far as Points are concerned,..No points will or have been awarded for the Nat's.

I was somewhat surprised you weren't there on the evening,.. :o :)

Cheers :)

Thanks Stoo, spend that Saturday evening co hosting a Trivia night as one of the Blues Bros, raised $5000 for Redfield college Basketball.

Would have been there aotherwise.

James Apologies :oops:guess I was wanting a bit more context re dates etc.

Too many title races for my retro mind to manage...............

BTW Had a quick squiz at the AMF Bowl track in Castle Hill on the weekend, shorter than Hornsby in lap length but might be good enough to race retro on. Anyone had any contact with AMF about running a race there?
