Zinc Chloride is mildly corrosive but is not classified as a acid .
For soldering stainless steel real acid might be needed to get it to " tin" .

New version KC Brushless Motor
The New improved Version of the KC Racing brushless motor called Gen 2 has the lead wires coming out from the mounting bracket not as per old version between mounting bracket and bell which meant these wires could rub on the bell.

Ron Hershman clarified the difference between GT 1 and LMP.
If the body is open cockpit then it is classified as LMP.
If it is closed cockpit then it is classified as GT 1.
But looking at the JK web site open cockpit are discontinued they are all closed cockpit now and all called LMP by JK.

i mounted the ESC in a plastic carrier which is a much neater way of mounting the ESC.

After a test session I am impressed. IMO brushless motors are much better than Hawk type motors.

Thanks Stoo i am getting so much conflicting advice . Some say 11 tooth pinion, some say 13 and some say 14.

Here are two JK Bodies from the HSC days . I can't remember what James called then but they look like LMP to me .
