The Sydney Rd shop was where my brothers and I graduated from AFX at home. Early 1980s I think. Good times with Womps.

I got the chance to have a practise run on the ALM track recently. I'm no expert, but to me it's a good track. The whole set up was clean and tidy. A very nice man cave vibe about it.

This post has got me thinking about a thread that I came across in a speedway forum years ago: name the tracks you have visited - as a competitor and as a spectator. Is there a similar thread on here?

We had the pleasure of popping in to Ballarat Model Auto Racing Club over the Australia Day long weekend. They are trialling brushless motors in some of their classes. Ok. I've never actually been there in person. I've only "visited" online and from that I gathered that they used to have a mega, banked tri-oval, which gave way to a flat, paper-clip shaped oval.
But the good news for us oval fans is that Hailey, who used to work at Penrith, is now behind Outlaw ...

Any oval track racing?

I hadn't heard about ammonia as a fuel, but I had read about burning hydrogen in an ICE. Has this idea now been shelved?
