Re: ADM Warmup Race #2

Great to see the old Hornsby track up and running. From all reports the track is better than ever. Kudos to Ron and his helpers - I'll try and come down one weekend for a race.

Re: 2023 Geoghegan Trophy and Historic Trans-Am

Awesome work, thanks Fox. For those that don't know Fox keeps all of Seagulls Big race events on
ASCRA so we always have a reference point. Congratulations to all the entrants
and thank you for your support of Seagulls events.

Re: Vale Hutcho

Sorry for the loss of your great mate Fox. I never got to know him on the same personnel level you did but you were always telling me of his multi-talents in all manner of projects. Too bad cancer got him.. I was sure some of his other exploits would have got him first. I was lucky to be in an era ...

Re: 2020 HSC 'Lexan Shootout' Porsche Cup Enduro

Great result Team Fat.. You guys have now become the ones to beat. I think for the next race you need new T Shirts.. with a big Target on the back. I was really please with the Nikimoto result.. my two new team mates did an outstanding job to get us on the podium. Full credit also goes to the ...

Re: HSC Slotworx Porsche Cup Sprint Rnd 1

Great report Stoo.. You did well considering borrowed car and controller. Cant believe Benno left his cars behind... thats the sort of stuff that I expect me to do.. and I'm old enough to have a senior moment as an excuse..

Re: RIP Nathan "Mudd" Collie

Hi All, yep, very sad day for the Nathan's family and all the Slot car fraternity that benefited from Muddy's involvement in the Slotcar scene for so many years.. I had the job of dismantling the raceway a few weeks ago. The Drag strip and 8 lane speedway was bought by Tony at Red Racer. The ...

Re: Plafit,...... Racing ????,... I DON'T think So,.... Sigh

I think you nailed it First Corner.. RTR keeps it simple.. just as all plastic cars come. It's a bit daunting for plastic guys to mount a body on little foam block glued in just the right position to a lexan shell.. The Scaleauto's just screw on like a 1/32 plastic so its familiar territory ...

Re: Plafit,...... Racing ????,... I DON'T think So,.... Sigh

I hear you Stoo.. Trouble is, everyone except Hornsby is running the new 1700 "can am " chassis. It's a bargain at around $100. Comes with drilled lightweight wheels with glued and tried tyres, really robust front axle blocks and weight where you want it. Best of all it's a very good chassis for ...

Re: NSW 2011 Plafit State Titles. Sat'. 1/32 & 1/24 Historic

Thanks for taking the time to do the report Stoo. Yes, the numbers were dissapointing but there was some good racing. Cant believe my luck (or more precisely, lack of) in 1/32 but by far the most amazing was the 'Historic' finish with you, me and Troy. On the last bracket lane change we were all ...

Re: N.S.W PLAFIT STATE TITLES November

Yep Stoo, Noel's on the money. Spend $23 and just buy a "tin plate" and convert... As a way of recouping your cash outlay I bet you could cut up the brass chunk and make some really interesting D3 bits.. I see a nice motor box base plate there with just a few holes here and there to remind you it of ...

Re: N.S.W PLAFIT STATE TITLES November

What can I say Stu... This is an in-house thing between you, the local drivers and the management of Hornsby Slotcars. At the Hornsby APC James made it quiet clear that "the J" chassis was a "hard body" chassis only and would not be eligible for the Lexan Group C state titles. In accordance with ...
