For those that haven't heard Nathan Collie passed away last weekend. He was a big part of the slot car community and a close friend to many of us.
He will be laid to rest April 27th at Eco Memorial Park @ 12Pm. The family has suggested instead of flowers we can make a donation to Beyond Blue.
Mudd will be forever missed.
RIP Nathan "Mudd" Collie
Re: RIP Nathan "Mudd" Collie
Was chatting with Wayne B about this yesterday,..
How VERY Sad.
How VERY Sad.
Re: RIP Nathan "Mudd" Collie
Hi All, yep, very sad day for the Nathan's family and all the Slot car fraternity that benefited from Muddy's involvement in the Slotcar scene for so many years..
I had the job of dismantling the raceway a few weeks ago.
The Drag strip and 8 lane speedway was bought by Tony at Red Racer.
The excellent Johnson King track is for sale and will hopefully get another home.
The King track was disassembled carefully and now has gone into storage in a nice dry facility.
It comes with all equipment including a bull dog power supply, computer, programme and monitors.
The track owner has posted a For Sale notice on the Auslot forum, I will see if he can also post here in case someone is interested.
Regards, Kim
