USRA Cahoza Box 12

In their infinite wisdom the USRA have just banned all Cahoza grp 12 motors from racing. This does not look like it will impact major non USRA races - eg the Hillbilly howl and I expect the Barn Burner as they will simply ignore the USRA. However as most racers overthere use Cahoza setups this will ...

Re: NATS 2016 rules

Just like to add where this has now gone in the U.S - we have 2 motors - one high timed ballistic qualifier for the first bracket - and then our race motor and race gearing that gets changed after the first bracket.

Re: US Nats

All finished now - ran OMO had motor issues - just not quick enough - finished 8th. Lined up for semipro rather than pro for Grp 7 - ran well was either first or second throughout the race - car would not move on black last heat - managed 40 laps but could only run straight up - dropped from being ...

Re: US Nats

They seem to be the pic of the tyres for here - work well - I used a combination of Alpha 615's and Jet 34's. They were just as good.

First race was a crashfest.

Re: US Nats

Pro I15, finished 3rd today - was not fast enough - fasted lap time was a good .15 slower than the rest of the field. Did finish on the same lap as second - about 20ft behind.

Built and pitted the 3rd place AM car, which Tommy,s nephew drove.

US Nats

First day today, went to Pit for Tommy's nephew in AM Box 12. The kid did really well, 11 years of age - struggled on black with timing the lead on but apart from that had a very clean race - finished fourth but without the black issues would have won AM box 12. I got offered the car for pro-box and ...

Re: Retro Pro

Had a quick test, needs new tyres (rather than an old set that I had). Track was dusty so not ideal - car felt good ran 4.104 - but there is a lot left in it. Left the car with Wayne and he is going to test after the retro race next week. I am off to Darwin so wont be there.

Re: Raceworld 2016 Retro Series Rnd 1 - 20/02/2016

The Can AM was the closest finish I have had - I was on Blue and Jake was on Black. I am sure I hit the bank in front but Jake had a shorter path to the line and got there first. I could not see who crossed the line first - it was a check the monitor job.

As I said - very close race.

Body is a JK T122 Short - it is used - not new - testing at this stage hopefully today - does not have a diaplane - will see whether they are needed first.
