Hi all,

Whilst unfortunately Not being able to take part in this years event due to work commitments and also Not having any of the actual Race Sheets/Details at hand, I Do believe Congratulations Must go to Brad, for Winning the CanAm section of the Retro State Titles held this last weekend at HSC, against a full field of 8 very good and competitive racers.

Well Done Brad !!!!,.. ;) :) :) , Way to Go !!

I for one am very happy to hear of this Win, as Brad has Often put in some Very good performances over the past few years, in both CanAm and F1, but often fortune has often dealt a not so gracious hand over the whole race/event.

As far as I know, Mark Fox TQ'd and perhaps finished 2nd, with I think Darryl taking 3rd,..??

Other details are unknown at this stage, apart from being aware that Troy took out the win in F1, with I think Justin TQ'ing.

Good to see that my Chassis is still performing 'adequately' !!,.. :D

Hopefully, as with the results of the Plafit State Titles, perhaps someone else can 'fill in the missing Details' of the 'Event'.

The Closeness and competitiveness of the Retro racing this past year has really become quite excellent and extraordinary and Extremely enjoyable, with some New seemingly Regular New Faces joining us for the Great Fun that is Retro racing and with apparently Wayne, Cody and Lindsay intending to race regularly Next Year, it should be even More Fun !!!

Once again, well done to both Brad and Troy.

:)

Can-AM

Fox was super fast in qualifying, with Brad almost untouchable in the race, being super fast and keeping a clean set of heels. Peter was unlucky, having to pull out half way through the second bracket. Darryl came storming home to take and hold P3 in the last minute of racing.

F1

Another great race and surprisingly clean for a fast and action packed F1 race. Justin blitzed qualifying (I have to give myself a wrap) and it was tight all the way down the order. Troy once again proved that consistency and punching out lap after lap presents a formidable race package, despite my attempts to chase him down after an early setback.

Qualifying

1 Justin 5.042
2 Troy 5.153

4 Darryl 5.246
5 Brad 5.279
6 Leigh 5.300

1 Troy 257 laps fastest 5.294 (orange)

Interestingly, the TQ in both fields managed to (only) run 2nd..

Congrats and thanks to all for an absoloutely awesome nights racing

Can't wait for 2014 with more competition coming to play. I'm sure that Wayne, Cody and Lindsay will bring their "A" game
