It doesn't seem to be posted anywhere about the rule changes that we discussed at the 2009 Nationals during the 'General Meeting'. I coudn't remember where to find the '2009 Rules' so I've copied the '2008 Rules' from the Mr Slotcar forum and made the necessary adjustments, thay are highlighted in red.
As far as I can remember, this is what they were:
Super 16D
CHASSIS:
1. Any Parma, Pro Slot, Champion, JK, Mosetti or Slotworks pressed steel Group 10 type chassis.
2. No chassis modifications except for a motor and/or axle brace made from piano wire/brass tube or a Slick 7 EDM equivalent.
3. The front axle may be soldered in place at the pillow blocks and/or replaced with .062" piano wire.
4. Motor mounting tabs must be retained; oilite recess may be enlarged to allow improved gear mesh.
5. Oilite axle bushes only, may be soldered or glued in place.
6. Front wheel retainers may be soldered in place.
7. Tape may be used to adjust the chassis movement.
8. “Shaker tubes” may not be used to mount the body
9. Only original body fixing mounts are to be used.
BODY:
Sunset Extreme only. Body may not be cut above the manufacturer’s cut line
No additional air dams or spoilers are allowed.
GEARS: Any commercially available un-modified 48 pitch 1/8" or 64 pitch 3/32"
WHEELS: Front min. diameter 1/2" alum. replacement wheels with “O” ring tyres. Rear: any 1/8"
AXLES: Front – Maximum diameter 1/16” Rear - 1/8" solid only. Oilites only.
MOTOR:
1. Parma #500, #501, #502, #498, #499 setups, Fastones Midnight 2AT, Camen “Demon”, Proslot Speed FX, or RJR “D” adjustable timing setup are permitted.
2. Must use the original endbell and e/b hardware. Any can screws may be used.
3. Can straightening and enlarging the oilite hole to centre oilite. Motor oilites only.
4. Endbell and hardware may not be modified in any way with the exception of honing the hoods to fit “Big Foot” or “Gold Dust” motor brushes. Any brush springs and motor brushes may be used with exception of pre-shunted brushes.
5. Oilite type bushings only – may be soldered and/or glued in position.
6. Magnets may be “zapped” and glued by applying super glue. They must also be the original type and located with original magnet retainers.
7. The can may not be modified except for the following:
a. Notching for axle clearance.
b. Removal of plating to facilitate soldering motor in position.
ARMATURES:
Permitted armatures – any Parma, B.O.W, PSE, Proslot, RJR/Viper or Slotworks Super 16D armature with a minimum stack length of .490” and a minimum diameter of .520”, wound with a minimum of 60 series wound turns of 28 gauge (AWG). Original armature coatings must not be removed.
Group 12 GTP
CHASSIS: Any Group 12 type sedan chassis. No wing car chassis.
BODIES:
GT-292 Ultimate Lola H.D force ... GT-305 Ultimate Caddy H.D force.
PSE-70524 Lola H.D force ... PSE-70525 Caddy ... PSE-70526 Caddy H.D force
Sunset Porsche Extreme.
GEARS: Any.
WHEELS: Front: minimum diameter 1/2". Rear: any
REAR AXLE: Solid 1/8" or 3/32". Oilites only - may be soldered or glued in place.
MOTOR:
1. Any mass produced commercially available full size “C” can type setup. No strap cans.
2. Any mass produced commercially available 'C' can endbell. No aluminium or metal endbells.
3. Any brush hoods, buss bars and spring posts may be used.
4. Endbell may not be modified in any way.
5. Endbell hardware screws and endbell-to-can mounting screws may be added and/or substituted.
6. Can may not be modified except for the following –
a. Notching for axle clearance.
b. Removal of plating and/or paint to facilitate soldering
c. Oilite hole may be centered.
7. A small 2mm hole may be drilled in each side of the can to facilitate gluing of the magnets.
8. Oilite type bushing in the endbell. Ball Bearing permitted in the can.
9. Any full can height, single piece ceramic magnets may be used. (No Quads or multi-segment magnets except Proslot SMQ Permitted). Magnets may NOT contain “Rare Earth” materials-defined as elements with Atomic weights 58 through 71.
10. Magnets may be shimmed, glued, radiused and polished.
11. Any brushes and springs may be used.
12. Heat sinks, buss bars, shunt wire and spring insulation may be used.
13. Any production tagged Group 12 armature with a minimum of 50 series wound turns of 29 gauge (AWG) wire may be used, on a minimum stack length of 0.350”.
14. Minimum armature diameter 0.512”.
15. Armatures spacers are allowed.
Wing 12
MINIMUM WEIGHT The minimum weight of the car must be 72 grams at all times. (This varies depending on the raceway)
BODY: Any commercially available “wing car” body.
GEARS: Unrestricted
WHEELS: Front: minimum diameter 1/2" Rear: any
REAR AXLE: Solid 1/8" or 3/32". Oilites only.
CHASSIS:
Any commercially available chassis with the exception of a chassis containing any aluminium parts.
The chassis may be modified from its original specification.
Floating front body mounts are prohibited.
MOTOR:
1. Any mass produced commercially available full size “C” can type setup. No strap cans.
2. Any mass produced commercially available 'C' can endbell. No aluminium or metal endbells.
3. Any brush hoods and buss bars, spring posts may be used.
4. Endbell may not be modified in any way.
5. Endbell hardware screws and endbell-to-can mounting screws may be added and/or substituted.
6. Can may not be modified except for the following –
a. Notching for axle clearance.
b. Removal of plating and/or paint to facilitate soldering
c. Oilite hole may be centered.

13. Any tagged “X-12” or “X-12+” armature with a minimum stack length of 0.350” and a minimum 50 series wound turns of 29 gauge (AWG) wire may be used. Minimum armature diameter 0.512”.
14. Armatures spacers are allowed.
Wing Car Ground Clearance
It was also agreed that all cars have a minimum ground clearance of .047" under the rear of the chassis. All sedans were already like this but now all Wing cars have joined the club.
There was also one other ruling that I can remember but I didn't put in in the GTP 12 rules because I wasn't sure. This was to allow the O/S Ultimate Caddy into the list of GTP 12 bodies, but I'm not 100% sure on this one, so correct me if I'm wrong.
