I will Get Back with a More detailed report ASAP,..but as is always the case there was some really Great, Clean, fast and extremely enjoyable racing.
Took me half the CanAm race to get myself 'Back on Pace',..but was 'On the Money' for the F1's and if I had Not been so 'courteous' marshalling the Errant cars that de-slotted in front of me whilst on Black,..I might have managed to 'Pip' Darryl for the Win,...as even on a Bad day I can usually turn More than 17 on Black !!,...
Not really an Issue though, as the Racing really IS a Load of Fun and it was really Close and very enjoyable, so Congrats to Darryl, who appears to have become Extremely competitive of late,..well done Darryl !!!
BUT,...the BIG News was the absolutely Fantastic and thoroughly deserved Win By Brad in CanAm !!
Brad drove an Excellent and very smooth and well metered race, with his New Warmack 'Kit' chassis.
First into the first corner and led All but 3 brackets and finished with an extremely respectable total of 173 laps. Three laps ahead of 2nd place James in his Heat, and Two laps ahead of Charles in the overall placings.
Well done Brad !! Great to see you come through for such a Fine Win.
Overall CanAm Placings;
1st Brad 173 laps
2nd Charles 171 laps
3rd James 170 laps
4th Gregg T 169 laps
5th Darryl 167 laps
6th Lindsay 164 laps
7th Stoo 162 laps
8th Steph 160 laps
The F1 race was Extremely Close and a whole lot of fast Fun racing,..perhaps even More so than usual.
Overall F1 Placings;
1st Darryl 167 laps
2nd Stoo 166 laps
3rd Charles 161 laps
4th Brad 160 laps
5th James 160 laps
6th Gregg T 160 laps
7th Lindsay 159 laps
8th Steph 156 laps
Possibly a bit of a Poor showing from young Steph on the evening, due to a bit of car trouble in Both classes, which was a shame and stopped her from performing in her usual competitive fashion,..but she certainly Did have great pace when things were all working OK,..better luck next time Steph'.
Also,..was Great to have Gregg T and Lindsay Byron racing with us,.. and Lindsay's New retro car built by his US friend Tommy Flythe seemed to work pretty well and with a bit of extra tuning, could be a bit of a force to be reckoned with and you are More than welcome to borrow my Spare F1 again Lindsay,..maybe we can try some Extra horsepower next time !!,..
Retro's around the HSC Road course Really are Fantastic and always provide some Great Fast and Fun racing,...looking forward to the Next round !!!
EDIT: As I had meant to initially, I REALLY want to Once again thank Joe, for Once Again allowing me to borrow His Hand Controller. It IS Very Much appreciated!!,...Thanks
See you all there !!,..Just watch out for Brad and Darryll !!!,...
