Yes Tim this is true but he has been runner up at my race 3 years in a row. It has always been close just gets pipped at the post.

The NQDC remains one of the most enjoyable weekends on the slotting calendar and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who hasn't been. That Northern Queensland hospitallity is second to none!!!!
