Not sure if this is the right place to put this, or even if it's ok to post here.
Mods, please feel free to move, or remove it as you see fit.
Spotted this thread on Auslot Forum and thought someone may be interested to contribute to an Australian magazine.

"Hi, I recently had a chat to Frank the managing editor of Model Art Magazine Australia about slot car content in Australian model magazines. He said the lack of slot car articles was mainly due to none being submitted to the magazine
Frank suggested would like to run a slot car section in the magazine . I volunteered to get the ball rolling and help prepare articles. The magazine is a very high standard so I am interested in hand built slot cars or custom bodies that are well detailed.
if you wish to submit your pride & joy for inclusion in the magazine send me a brief description and a few photos - just email size & quality for now. Please send the information to my email address listed below.
If your car (or other vehicle) is what we are looking for I would then require a more detailed description. The photos for the magazine would have to be of high quality which may have to be arranged.
I would prefer that the models had been used in some form of competition and not just a "shelf queen" This means some race
marks will be acceptable. Some race history would be good. 1/64, 1/43,1/32 & 1/24th scales will be accepted.
There will be some general slot car information as well maybe some "how to's" and track information in the articles.
I hope this effort will generate more interest in our great hobby. The majority readers of the magazine are already model buffs so it is hoped the slot car articles may inspire them to motorize and race their models and join a race group.
It will be appreciated if you can help by submitting your models for consideration.
I may not get an article in every issue but I will try. That will depend on how many submissions I get.
I can answer questions on this forum, via email or by phone.
