Retro Racing in Melbourne

Hey guys,..it would seem there may even be a Retro Race this coming weekend in Melbourne !!,..see here;

I hope it Goes really well and a few racers turn up and Enjoy themselves !!
Would be good to have some Extra Interest in what is basically a Great class, even for those that Aren't Scratch Builders.

Hi Stoo,apart from the retro cars we will be running Plafit Can-Am/Sports,Plafit FJ/FX and Parma International 32

Hi Chadly,
Yes the rules are on the M.R. site, you have a choice of using the plafit chassis or scratch building your own out of brass and piano wire.

Is anyone running a Scratch built FK/FX ???
Love to see some Piccies if they Are !!
Would also be interesting to compare the relative performance of the Scartch builts to the Plafits !!

Looks like they all had a Great time at Mobile Raceways this last Saturday the 17th April, (Melbournes Innaugural Retro Race).
Even had a full field of 8 cars and drivers !!!

Hi Stoo,
Yes finally a some D3 racing in Melbourne, we've had a couple of cars at King Willys for some time now. Great to see a full field, some pretty nice chassis' too.
Hopefully the M.R. people can find time in their busy race schedule to run some regular races.
If anyone wants to race D3's on the King we are always up for a race at King Willys.

Yeah,..well I think it would be Great if a few of Us from up here could make it down for a run.
Would be great if we could run on Both tracks The Kingleman and the King !!,..In One Weekend.
make it a Special Event !!! ROFL
As you say scheduling !!!
Like I said, I just hope the racing was good and everyone had Fun !!
