Hmm,..Yeah Right!,..Thanks Bob,..lol
Sigh,..
You know, I have absolutely No Idea, Who, What, Why or Where, those absolute Bastardisations of The Real cars Ever came from.
It Must have been for some local SA class of Flexi's or something??
There is a Whole Bunch of Sunset Bodies like that, that seem to have 'Grown', Ti-22/March 707/Brm type perimeter Air Dam like structures, that in No way replicate the Real car.
IMHO, that particular body is SO Far from the original, that if you Had Not Told me it was even a Lola, I would Never have Guessed.
See Here;

and that is But a few.
It was a 'development' of the 160 Series of cars and even in the latter cars, never had the 'Dished/bowled' upper surface as that body has.
I like Bob and have over the years used Many of his bodies, but I would have to say that Currently, there Aren't actually that many Sunset bodies that I would describe as even being useable in Retro, lete alone representatively Legal.
Personally I have used a few of the McLaren M6AS versions, but most are in 7thou lexan and therefore Not absolutely legal as the rules do 'suggest' 10thou, and heck the 10thou bodies are better for these Heavier cars anyway and handle the 'punishment' a bit better.
If you are looking for bodies, then Contact James or Wayne at HSC, as they currently have Quite a Range of Outisight, RedFox and JK bodies, CanAm, Coupes and F1.
I am pretty sure Outisight have a few Lola's t160's atleast.
Initially when we were getting into this Retro thing, there was Not a lot of Body choice or availability, so, wanting to be prepared and have 'Our Own' "Unfair Advantage", Fox and I have been running
TrueScale bodies from the US. They are Easily the Nicest Retro Vac-Formed bodies around, with a similar appearance, clarity and crispness of detail similar to the Lancer and Dynamic bodies of the past.
The JK bodies are Quite Long, especially the McLaren M6 !!,..Once again,..NO M6 Ever looked like That, the Ti-22 works OK and the RedFox Long Nosed 'Kirby' Ti-22 is also a very nice Body, as is the same 'Kirby' shape as TrueScale's.
Like I said, give HSC a call, the Outisight Cooper F1's are good!
Oh yeah they also have the Lotus 49's, with the front winglets and Swoopy tail like as raced by Graham Hill at Monaco in Gold Leaf colours and I think may have a couple of BPR Raceways Lotus 'Indy Wedge' bodies, which are similar to those of Fox's you mentioned to me. Fox's is a Truescale (Lancer Style) and is a Lovely Body.
As I mentioned, it is because of the Melding of both D3 and IRRA rules, that 'Allows' the Indy Bodies.
One thing with the CanAm bodies, is the Retro Cut-Off date is for cars that Raced upto 1969, with 'Local' inclusions allowed.
Hope that Helps once again.
