Anyone willing to give some tips (ie: don't ever run straight up; need atleast a choke that goes up to 20ft; etc........)

PLace one hands firmly around the com and squeese like hell.
Not the ansawer you wanted
The amount of choke depends on a number of things wind of the arm, the number of mags in the setup and the airgap. not to mention track power.
Tradotionally a soft wind would be used for OMO 84 1/2 or a 95. the more mags you have the less choke you can get away with as the motors seem to run cooler and a slightly bigger airgap will also help to stop the motor detonating and setting of the smoke detectors.
If the power is clean then some thing like a 84 1/2 in a 22 or 28 mag setup you could start on 8 or 6 feet. You have to check the com at ever lane change to see how the motor is running if it's nice and gold your on the right amount of choke if it's starting to go black and glazed looking you need more choke and if it's red your running to much choke. You also need a car that is not to stuck to stuck and you will heat up the motor and this will also let the smoke out and as we all now they stop going when the smoke gets out
Are you going to run OMO here in Rocky at the Nats
