A rather incident filled race was finally and arguably smoothly Won by absolute 'Run Away Winner', Klay Hancock.
Adrian eventually came 2nd after being 'Off Track' for some time, with Qld Mick taking 3rd after having issues in the last 2 x brackets.
Rick Verbeek TQ's with a fine
2.176
Will hopefully be able to provide more details about this race soon.

Below is some further pics', thoughts and info' as initially supplied / reported by Adrian on the
Brushless slot car racing association Facebook page.
Klay won using a DoSlot 9kv with DoSlot 'Blue' Board geared 8 to 37.
Not the fastest but he did drive very well, with 8 good Brackets. Old wing 12 Viper body on a 4.6 Chassis.
I used same Do slot 9KV set as Klay but I had 11 to 42.
Made my car faster, I also pushed the boundary with hollow axle and speed spur.
This was my down fall though, as I bent an axle and lost a 'Heat' because I wasn't set up to change anything.
I used an old 4.3 open chassis and body.
Rick Verbeek, (who easily had the fastest car), was using an NSR motor with Mid-America board, which was geared 6 to 41, eventually Spun a pinion and whilst trying to change it, loosened the shaft which ended up falling out.
Geaze, had a B52 9k motor but found some traffic, did his 2 gear allowance so pulled out. Was geared 10-42 with another 4.6 open chassis.
Jason, also had a 9kv DoSlot but it smoked a board. It looks like the motor may have dropped a bearing as the motor was really tight to turn over. Was geared 8 to 39.
Two were using 11kv motors, 1 had the motor fall apart leaving the bell spinning on the track., whilst the other smoked a board.
My take away, is brushless on a king, still isn't there yet, if run as Open.
Maybe 9kv with restrictions to gearing will be ok.
More testing needs to be done.
