What Size Motor ?? ... Brand ... and what type of chassis ??

Checking with Kim, (who has been running 4500kv cars at Seagulls), they have tried and run both 13:32 and 14:34.
Both apparently work well :)

Obviously your results may vary, depending on chassis and body choices but that should put you into a workable 'Ball Park' as it were ;) :D

Thanks Stoo i am getting so much conflicting advice . Some say 11 tooth pinion, some say 13 and some say 14.
I think i will give 14:39 a go see what happens .

That will probably work fine :)
Kim's tests, were with the KC motors btw

Try to keep the 'Mesh' relatively Open and Free ie: Not too tight
If you experience any 'Cogging' or it not wanting to restart, perhaps try a smaller pinion.

After a test session I am impressed. IMO brushless motors are much better than Hawk type motors.

Yes !! .... Initially, there were Many Nay-Sayers ... but many / most have now also come to the same realization

I mean, not only is the Power delivery arguably better, it's also about the inherent Handling improvement, with so little weight in the rear of the chassis, let alone the longevity and ease of maintenance :D

Being quite a Grp 12 aficionado, you of all people can appreciate the Cost/Performance Benefits, compared to a 'typical Grp12 program ;) :)

If 6500kv brushless replaced G12 i would not object.
