As far as I am aware, he had been living 'Healthier' and was actually riding his Push-Bike and suffered a Heart Attack (a passing motorist noticing him in the Side area of the road).

I believe he 'passed' on the way or at the Hospital at the age of 53 !!

Thank you, it was quite upsetting that nobody let me know at the
time because I considered John a close friend.
