ADM Warmup Race #1

Hi All,
We had the first race ever on the road circuit previously located at Hornsby Slotcar Centre and now meticulously restored to its racing glory by Ron Griffin.
Ron has completely rewired the track and given it a new new fence colour along with spending many hours assembling and leveling it all out - he has done a superb job by any measure.
The track is super fast and provided a great day of racing for Plafit Historic and Retro CanAm as a warm-up for the ADM (Australia Day Mash)on 26 Jan.
Plafit Historic
A line up of five for this race - these cars go really well around here.
A good win for me followed by Charles, Darryl and Dave in a well spread field at the end.
Ando had a whole pile of misery with his car just not playing the game.
Retro CanAm
Six starters here - a great tussle between myself and Charles saw off the field with only 0.266 sec separating us at the end with the ever solid Darryl in third followed by Dave.
Ando and Neil brought up the rear with Neil providing the best 'Seniors Moment' by driving half of the 4th bracket on Purple rather than the allocated Blue lane - hey we have all done it.
Really great to see the podium filled by the builders of the cars
A big thanks to Ron for this great day when he was not all that well (buggered knee) on a beautifully refurbished track that is loved by many raceres and has seen many epic battles in sprint and endro format and covering many classes of racing.
Next race is next week for Porsche Cup and Flexi Sedans
