A warm-up race for this newly established class at Seagulls using ACE bodies bolted to Plafit Group C chassis.
SATURDAY 4th Nov 2023
Plafit Historic 124
This great little class gets stronger and stronger and is one of the staples at Seagulls weekly Monday Club night. Plafit chassis, ACE bod and Fox IV motor with 10T pinion make this a fun and inexpensive class.

This scratch-built class proved most popular with 30 entries comprising a large variety of chassis built by both local builders (Wayne, Cody, myself, Charles, Qld Mick) and O/S builders (JB, Hanson, JJ, Akitani, Bartos). Concours - Wayne
TQ - AM Caine, PRO Ken
1st - AM Caine, PRO Ken
2nd - AM Andy, PRO Noel

WRAP UP & WINNERS ARE GRINNERS PARADE
First of all I congratulate all the racers who came to this meet and made it so good.
Not all trophy winners are here as some of them had to get away before the presentations were made.
Ha Ha - make that 2024 Caine.
The closeness of the racing was superb with podiums (1st to 3rd) being split by 1 lap for: - Historic 124, CanAm Retro and Plafit GT3. Ken buggered it up for Flexi Sedan by beating Noel and Cody (both on the same lap) by a whooping 5 laps!
I guess that one goes back in the fridge Ken?
Well that's it for me - a BIG thanks to Kim and his CEO Mouse for making it such a pleasure to race at Seagulls.
Cheers
