Hi All,

Third round of SRC 2023 took place on a balmy Anzac day and kicked off early with a fun race for the Limited Sedan Flexi's which is a great class for the old style flexi's (motor on top of chassis with front wheels) and Sedan bodies powered by Cheetah motors.

Limited Sedan Flexi

Eleven starters so races of 5 and 6 competitors. Race 1

Ando and Ron slugged this one out closely followed by Gregg. A welcome return for James in this race and also great to see Roland in the mix.


Race 2

Darryl led this race all the way ------- except at the end of the last bracket when Wayne absolutely blitzed Purple to steal the win by a lap with Casey less than a second behind Darryl to fill the podium.

After the fun we got down to some dinner from the BBQ of Toni - Steak, bacon, eggs and fried onion sangers

With full bellys we got down to the serious stuff.

Retro CanAm

Ten Starters for two races of 5.


Race 1


Gregg, Ando and Wayne battled this one out finally finishing in that order with only 2 laps separating them.


Race 2

Bit of a procession with Darryl leading me all the way whilst Try and David battled it out for 3rd with Troy taking over in the 5th Bracket to fill out the podium. Charles had what could probably be described as a s--t of a time finishing well back with a badly misbehaving car.

Race 1


Easy win for Casey in what was a bit of a hectic race with Ando and Gregg finishing 2nd and 3rd.


Race 2


Wayne pretty much smashed us.

Certainly lots of NAILING going on - especially in GT1 with cold tyres

Was another great day at Luddenham
The Standard Flexi class is a great class
Retro was a good day just not fast enough for the quick cars
And Gt 1 was a smash fest
