Hi All,

Seven starters for the night and so kicked off the Retros with a round-robin event.

Retro CanAm

Darryl was on fire and smoked my old track laps record by 4 laps whilst setting some really quick times. Doing a 4.3 was really quick in the old days ( a couple of months ago ) but Mr Toole did that on all lanes except red with a 4.289 on Blue chucked in for good measure.

David Fitz also had a great night and has taken to this class like a duck to water with a great 2nd place also reeling off four bests in the 4.3s whilst I finished about as well lap wise as I ever have but it was just no good. Must mention Ando for a great effort finishing well in 4th ahead of the remainder of the field.

GT1

To mitigate potential carnage we decided to have two heats of 3 and 4 starters for this class.

Darryl finished over Gregg and Ando in the first heat.


I pretty much won at leisure in the second heat followed by Troy with Charles and David next.

As usual the track was in good condition and the BBQ Queen Toni fed us all very well.

Thanks Mark , much appreciate your time and effort into putting together these great reports . its great to be able to look back on and remember these fantastic times with reports and pics ,,,,,,,,you can get that feeling back of how much fun ,laughter, disappointment ,frustration, satisfaction ,payback, mateship, we can and have . Very fortunate to even have these events , and mates to race with. .and to Ron , Ando , Toni , making it the place to race and have as much fun as we can ......
