Hi All
Nice field of 8 for the CanAm/Coupes with 7 for F1 for the last round of the HSC Retro series for 2020.
Great to have Steve join us again along with Charles and Wayne who also brought Cody down as well.
CanAm/Coupes
Race 1
After the first bracket it was Cody, Joe, Steve and Charles and that is how it stayed.
Cody got away from Joe to lead by 4 laps after the 3rd bracket but that was as far as he got with Joe hanging on for dear life to finish 4 laps down on the Kid (can we still call Cody 'Kid Kaos' now that he is in his mid 20's? I suppose compared to the rest of us we can).
Steve and Charles had a great battle and for the last 4 bracket were on the same lap!
Race 2
Darryl and I had an awesome time with both of us on the same lap for virtually the whole race for me to finally win by less than half a second. Gregg T was chasing all the way for 3rd whilst Stoo busted up in the 6th bracket.

F1
Race 1
A epic father/son battle here as Wayne and Cody duked it out for the whole race. Dad took the lead from son in the 2nd and held on for 3 brackets with both on the same lap. Cody then takes over and builds a 2 lap lead going into the final bracket and then - 'Kaos' strikes as Cody needs to do some running repairs to eventually finish 4 laps down ]on Dad.
Meanwhile Stoo is motoring well and runs in 3rd all the way to finish 1 lap behind Cody with Steve and Charles 3 laps further back on the same lap.
Race 2
I led all the way here but was chased hard by Joe who had Gregg hot on his tail for the whole race while Darryl was not as quick as usual.
Wash-up
Close racing with Wayne and I on the same lap, Joe and Cody on the same lap, Stoo and Gregg on the same lap to be topped with Steve, Darryl and Charles doing the same.
My win in F1 made me undefeated in this years' Club Series and I was very pleased to reverse my loss to Wayne in our last encounter as that is the only Retro race I lost all year at HSC
Well that was the end of the racing season at HSC in a year that was definitely more memorable for the races we did not have unfortunately.
Cheers
