Hi All
Another great nights racing at HSC for this round with 10 starters in GT1 and 8 in CanAm including a new face - Roland - who Darryl brought along and supplied cars for.
GT1
Race 1
Andrew Baxter just slaughtered the field in this and with a total of 185 laps including a heap of 5.0's and one in the 4.9's he was going to be hard to beat in the wash-up.
Brother Wayne in 2nd but 11aps back with Neil just pipping Stevo by a lap for 3rd with Roland just learning to find his way around the track but by the looks of his smile he was enjoying himself which is the whole point ultimately.
Race 2
Troy, Darryl and Joe were in the mix at the end here to finish in that order on 3 laps apart. I was luck to come in next BUT only because Gregg T had major issues and had to retire after leading early and only down by a lap on the eventual winner at the half-way mark.
Wash-up
Andrew belted us.
CanAm
Race 1
Neil had a great all the way win but was closely shadowed by Joe until he blew his gearbox during the 6th bracket. A sad end for Joe as he was going very well with a new Mossetti Chassis I had built for him.
This mishap allowed Stevo to pounce for 2nd and Roland to prevail for 3rd.
Race 2
An all the way win for me followed by Darryl, Troy and Gregg - excellant racing with the number of de-slots combined not more than a handful.
