Hi Guys

We had our 2nd 4 Hour enduro for Retro CanAm at SSME on Sunday 13 September.

A nice sunny day out at 'the Farm' with the smell of Ron's efforts on the BBQ churning out bacon and egg sangers - life is good.

Four teams attended although it was nearly down to three. FASTUFF had problems early on with Stoo calling in sick - I went out to the track thinking Darryl would be there and I could rope him in to Drive.

No Darryl!!! Gave him a call and he was also suffering - from a hard day on the mower - and had hayfever and a stiff neck - however he rose to the challenge and took the appropriate medical aids and hot-footed over to help me out.

Eventually we got under way albeit a little late and so we decided to cut the race to 3 hours to allow some errands to be taken care of in the afternoon.

'Father Son' (Wayne and Michael Baxter) hit the lead early closely followed by 'Kenny Ron' on the same lap. FASTUFF got off to a slow start whilst 'Robyn Rob' cooked a motor and reverted to their back-up car.

By the end of the second bracket it was FASTUFF, 'Father Son', 'Kenny Ron' and 'Robyn Rob' in that order for the remainder of the day.

We all had a great time.

Am still a bit annoyed that I was unable to take part in what has Always proven to be an enjoyable Day's racing at SSME due to my poor health on the day.
As discussed, was realistically more concerned regarding the actual drive there and back in my Real car, let alone my possible poor performance 'on track'.

Was certinly Not expecting Darryl to be 'missing in action' initially, so am very glad that he could eventually join you for another great "FASTUFF" win and for everyone to end up havng another anjoyable days racing at SSME.

Definitely looking forward to taking part in the next enduro !!

Jut have to try and eclipse the "Team OZ" lap totals now,..

Thanks Mark,,,,great racing by all,,,,what a top day!! did not know how I would go,,,but plenty of pain killers and zirtec tabs seemed to do the trick.
Was more than a pleasure to drive your car,,,,it was a super treat !!! wow wee ,,,,,you sure know how to build em !! and set them up,, well done mistro.
