SRC 2020 Round 1 - July HSC

Hi All.
The 1st SRC round for the year was held at HSC this past Tuesday 14 July.
GT1
Eight entries for 2 races of 4 each.
Race 1
Up front John held off Joe and slowly drew away to win all the way by 5 laps. In the meantime myself and Stevo battled it out for 3rd with less than a lap between us for the last 3 brackets - I managed to beat him eventually by less than a lap. Fun racing.
Race 2
An epic race long battle between Andrew and Troy saw Andrew hold his nerve and the lead to finish 1st with a great total of 189 - 1 lap up on Troy. Meanwhile Darryl and Gregg were also having a great race to the end with Darryl taking 3rd in the 5th bracket and hanging on to the line.
WASH-UP
CanAm
Five entries for this race and with John and Joe helping James and Ron Griffin marshal we set off.
Good racing throughout with Gregg leading the first 2 followed by Troy for 2 and then myself for the final four after getting my mojo together. Stevo drove a nice clean race but he was up against four of the best in this class of racing and so finished a little off the pace.
Great fun night again at HSC - thanks James.
