HSC 2019 Retro Series Rnd 10 - BTR 7/12/2019

Hi All,
The last round of the HSC Club Retro Series for 2019 attracted 4 entries for both Coupes and F1. We were able to race 4 man heats due to the attendance of Special Marshal Greg Erskine patrolling the finger and James armed with his finger on the button watching the loop.
COUPES
All the way win for me followed closely by Joe (who forgot it was Coupes tonight but WTF) and then Darryl and Stoo.
F1
Apart from the first bracket it was Darryl all the with with a close battle between Stoo and myself for 2nd with me just pipping Stoo by a bit over 4 seconds in the end. Joe led out for the 1st bracket but settled into 4th after a disastrous run on White in the 5th bracket that effectively finished his chances.
This race was actually very close if you look at the progressive scores. All were within 2 laps of each other after 4 brackets and although Darryl consolidated his lead to take the win Stoo and I had a real battle for 2nd with me adrift by about half a lap; an error by Stoo in the last bracket allowed me to get there - fun racing.
SERIES WRAP
Another year of racing ended and this is how it happened: -
SPECIAL THANKS
Joe
Who is the most helpful person on the planet with his willing assistance to any racer who needs it together helping James with track prep/maintenance - Thanks Joe.
Greg
Who turns up for all our races to have a chat and also the marshal for us. With the low numbers attending some of these races it would be difficult to race at all without Greg's attendance - Thanks Greg.
James
Who supplies and preps the tracks beautifully for us together with marshaling without ever getting to have a race - Thanks James
Have a Merry Festive Season and see you all in 2020.
Cheers
