Race Report - Geoghegan Trophy 2019

Hi All
Well the 2019 Geoghegan Trophy was an absolute triumph for FAT Racing (Fox Amos Toole) who took out the full podium in both CanAm and F1.
In fact the news that the full complement of FAT Racing were going to be competing must have leaked out as nobody else was game to have a go!
So FAT Racing set off to have some fun with the generous help of Joe with James and the track call clicker as marshals.
CanAm
Fast TQ from me Darryl also clocking in the 4’s.
All the way win for me (the “F” in FAT) over Darryl (the “T” in FAT) by 1.179 secs with Stoo (the “A” in FAT) bringing up the rear.
F1
TQ to me by quite a margin.
Another all the way for me followed by Darryl and Stoo again.
Overall Results
So it came to me yet again lift the spoils for the 4th time of the last 5 (Cody scored in 2016 – but I was overseas at the time – just saying ).
Overall a very disappointing turn-out considering James puts the event on, prepares the track, organised Trophies etc and Joe relinquished the chance to race so we could at least have a bit of a hit-out.
Thanks James and Joe – to quote Lara Bingle (not something I do often I can tell you) “Where the bloody hell are you?”
Cheers
