Hey Brad,.. :) ;) ;) OK, Cool, thanks for the info',.. Must admit, that all seems So far away these days,.. almost seems like Another Time, altogether,.. lol

Thinking of the people you mentioned such as Wayne B & Gary J and Others,.. I thought many of you may find the following 'links' and pieces Interesting,.. (to say the least,.. lol).

Wayne can I am sure 'chime-in' and confirm the details, but I think He and Jan Limpach, were quite successful in a number of JPVR's races 'in the day' and you can see and read some of the details here; https://slototo.jimdo.com/ann%C3%A9es/1987/1-24-1/ That 'link', also includes an Excellent Video/TV interview and reportage piece shot at the 1987 USRA National Championship at Jerry Kulich's Grand Raceway in Chicago and Featured on ESPN and Speed Channel. There are some great interviews with some of the Past Greats etc,.. like Stu Koford, Joel Montague, Jan Limpach, Paul Pfeiffer and others and is also interesting to see and hear the thoughts of (a Very Dapper) :D Csaba, regarding the 'Air Control' etc of the Wing Cars and suggests, (somewhat surprisingly) the Often believed but sadly Incorrect suggestion of the Cars performing Due to the "Ground-Effect" of the bodies,.. ;) ;)   Whilst it 'Sounds' like a theoretically 'Plausible' concept, the fact remains that whilst the Cars themselves are 'Scaled-Down',.. the Size of the Air Molecules,.. AREN'T !!!,.. lol

Anyone that has been involved with Scale Aeroplanes etc, soon discovers and understands, that Real World Wing Profiles and performance, do NOT 'Transfer' effectively to Small Scale !!,.. regarding 'Lift / Drag' etc,.. :)

I think you can catch a quick glimpse of a much younger Reggie Coram early on in the video :) as well as the 'Infamous' Lee Gilbert and a Very young Dale Yamashita in the Driver 'Greetings' :)

Anyway,.. all Great stuff, regardless !!,.. :)

There is also This interesting piece found on SlotBlog, of the '93 World's video at Boogie Speedway in Jackson, MI.
See here; http://slotblog.net/topic/82785-93-worl ... ackson-mi/

Cheers, Enjoy :D
