Hi guys,.. just happened to notice this 'Post' on SlotBlog by a racer who has been 'testing / trying' this New version of the DiFalco Genesis 2 controller.

Looks rather interesting and from the pics, would appear to use a Different Transistor / package !!??

See here:- http://slotblog.net/topic/87331-new-dif ... genesis-2/

Hi Stoo,

I noticed that thread this morning as well. Nice job.

Yeah TO-3 packaged transistors are becoming rarer and more expensive. Looks like there are 2 plastic packaged transistors in parallel.

regards
Greg

Oh !,.. well there you go,.. to be honest, I hadn't even Noticed that !!,.. lol

But,.. DOES make Sense !! ;) :)

In fact I have a feeling "Ruddock", has been doing that for some time.
There was a very good and informative Older 'thread' discussing some of that on SlotBlog :)

I think as well, the 'Technology', of The chosen 'Package' style, HAS ,.. Matured :)

No 'Mention' of it on the Official Difalco Site,.. http://www.difalcoonline.com/
