Thought I'd get in early for a change and kick off a thread for the next enduro.

Who's in??

1 - Ric's Raiders, Steve King + Kevin Sherwood.

2 - FASTUFF - Mark and Stoo
3 - BAD - Brad and Darryl (I am assuming here as Brad seemed to indicate that 'they will come out swinging' in the next one)

OK we need 3 more for a full field - I am assuming that SSME #1 and SSME #2 will be in so in reality we need 1 more - How about it Neil?

Can Teams please confirm they are running in the SSME Enduro later this month?

3 - BAD - Brad and Darryl (I am assuming here that Brad will make it).

How about a few more teams nominate for this event!

It will be a relaxed fun day - track calls for driver changes as at HSC.

Half way break for smoking and medication requirements.

With a bit of luck Ando may man the BBQ again for bacon and egg rolls to kick start the day (TBC).

Please confirm any attendances from SSME teams???

How about some of the recent SRC participants get it together and have a go - Troy,Neil, Gregg, Stevo, Shalin, Richard and Casey.

This race is on Mother's Day, and looks like my 'powers to be' have over-ruled me, so now I'm unfortunately a non-starter.

I have discussed the Mother's Day issue with Neil and Darryl this AM and initially we thought that postponing it a week would be a good idea as we want people to be able to attend.

Typical bunch of guys - nobody noticed it was Mother's Day until the virtual last minute

I called Ron to float he idea of pushing it out to the next week (20th May) but he said the SSME contingent had other activities planned for that day and it would not work. The following weekend (27th May) is the SSME open day and the track will be unavailable so that is out as well.

Moving right along: -

The SSME 4 Hour Enduro will now be held on Sunday June 3rd.

Expected Teams are (hopefully): -

Richard; Neil is trying to get hold of you to discuss your audition.

Schedule is as follows.

08:30 - Track opens for practice and tuning.
09:45 - Tech Inspection
10:00 - Race Start

There will be a 2min lane change and cars may be worked on in that change.

I have heard that some people wanted a shorter format and I also discussed this with Ron and others. My own and Ron's thoughts are that we should stick with the 4 hour format so that we get a good hit-out and also make it well worthwhile for those that have traveled far (Brad for one). However if people are unable or unwilling to race the longer format we could discuss cutting it back to 3 hours perhaps.

Please confirm you teams ASAP so that if we don't have six starters we can canvass/hassel to get them.

I've got a car club run on the 3rd, but I'll give that a miss.

HSC 8 lanes 30 minutes each = 4 Hours
SSME 6 lanes 30 minutes each = 3 hours

I'm in either way, my knee is much improved

I think the King needs a ride to the track. I am hoping that Brad can help out there.
