HSC 2018 Retro Series Rnd 2 - Big Track (BTR) 3/03/2018

Hi All,
The 2nd round of Retro CanAm and F1 for the HSC Club Season was run with 7 entries on Saturday 3rd March on the Big Track.
We had 2 races of 3 and 4 each so as to allow for marshaling.
CanAm
Race 1
Joe led after the 1st bracket on his beloved Purple lane but then it was all the way for James who took it out by 4 laps whilst Neil had all sorts of trouble before finally retiring in the 7th.
Race 2
Wow a really close race – for 2nd, 3rd and 4th with Mark, Darryl and Brad finishing within a lap of each other while Matthew just hoovered us up to win by 12 laps!!!
The Wash-up
Matthew was just blistering fast setting quick times on all lanes and finishing over James by 8 laps. Mark just pipped Joe by 1.4 sec for third and Darryl beat Brad by 1.8 sec for 5th.
F1
Race 1
Joe pulled out of this race so 2 runners only with James winning comfortably over Neil.
Race 2
All the way for Matthew again but this time no so dramatically as Mark and Brad were pressing (a little) as they battled for the minor spoils.
The Wash-up
Matthew, James and Mark again with Brad only a lap off the podium.
Fast times for me on 5 lanes with Matthew 2 (including the best of the day) and Brad 1.
Thanks as always to James for hosting us and it was good to see him in the mix racing.
