Special request from Brad to update my posts on the 2015 Nats held at HSC

A very quick report as I am about to cook dinner so here goes.

Can Am

Can Am Qualifying
Guess who ----- go on On this basis there were then two 3 min mains with the top 6 in the B main and the remainder in the A Main - Mains to be 3 mins
A Main
James started strongly but hit big trouble and in the meantime Peter Ellis and Peter Daniels battled it out. Great to see Peter Daniels - a racer from G&D in the 70's and now resident in Adelaide (I think) make an appearance whilst visiting Sydney - he did very well opn this very challenging track to come in 2nd here. B Main
Cody all the way with Brad taking 2nd and myself 3rd a lap adrift and Paul a further lap back in 4th - close race (for 2nd, 3rd and 4th at least). Final Placings

Cody loves F1 on this track. A Main
A good win by Peter Ellis a lap ahead of Darryl who was ahead of Peter Daniels by about a sec - another great run by the newbie! B Main
Cody again - a big 5 laps up on Brad (I'm now understanding why Brad wanted this report) followed by Jake and Paul. Yours truly had the exiting adventure of hitting a de-slotted car on the straight at high speed whilst on Purple and took some time out to straighten things out after launching into the shop counter with the biggest bang heard by mankind - never good for one's result Final Placings

Of Interest regarding the 'new' Cheetah 4 motors vs the 'old' Cheetah 2 motors - I ran a 2 to TQ in Can Am and also ran a 2 in F1 - neither of these were slow in comparison to Cody, Brad and Jake who I know ran the 4's - in my opinion there is no difference in speed overall.

Thanks again to the work done by James to prepare the track and a big cheer for all the racers that attended.

Thanks for posting you race report Mark . It was good to catch up with you and Neil and Stoo , and to meet the other guys racing . The following day I went to Raceworld and saw Wayne and Lindsay . It's been a lot of years in between . I will do it again . Peter Daniels
