Oh,sorry Bruce I kind of glossed over your efforts.
So.......
On an extremely humid Melbourne Summers day,a cast of top slot racers from around the globe converged on the classic Blue King track at King Willy's Raceway.
A line up of drivers including the current Brock trophy holder,Australian champions both past and present, international scale racing champions and the runner up in the 1975 VSCA Pacific Cup (Group12 division) gathered to pit their skills against a field of the best local drivers (and Bruce).
Sorry,I can't write any more without throwing up  .......
For more details,see above.
Any other info can be found pinned to Bruce's fridge. (Next to his bestest finger paintings)

Cheers,Andy

Hi Andy
Gee, your trophy cabinet must be sparse if you have to
go back that far to mention a race result (runner up)
Congratulations to Geoff for winning that race. I was surprised
you could remember that far back when you cant remember where your car was
on the track when we race during the week.

OK,time to put this one to bed.....
The 1975 VSCA Pacific Cup was run over a 4 race series at Tom Thumb,Quikslot,Moonee and Footscray.
I finished second,Geoff didn't win it (he was running Group 20 around that time)
The winner was...........

The Sydney Rd Racer....
Ted Lee O'Knee !!!!! :o :o :o
(He might've retired after that   I'm sure he'll have a copy of the series results in a briefcase somewhere  )

Now,where did I leave my car?........ :?

Cheers,Andy

Hi Andy,

I'll bet Teddy could tell us all about his "famous" victory in the Pacific Cup in some detail over and over again!

"We ran G12 in Goo back then and they lasted all year...............................................................................zzzzzzz

Cheers,

Geoff
