2014 Slick 7 Raceway Annual 3Hr Enduro July 5th

It's on again at Slick 7 Raceway in Mackay. Our annual 3 hour Enduro. Lets see if anyone can beat last years winners Team Mackay (Col Neaton and Jim Ogilvie). Start time for the race is 1:30pm. Hope to see a full field this year. We can race with more then 8 teams the bracket length will be shorten so race still finishes with in 3 hours.

Entry Fee $40 per team includes BBQ tea after the event.

22 min / 30 Sec lane change

Permitted bodies –
Mercedes CLK available from Slick 7 Raceway

Chassis
Any commercially available pressed steel group 10 type chassis may be used. (EXCLUDING ANY CHASSIS WITH A MOTOR BOX CUT OUT.)
All original dimensions, mounting points and basic configuration must be retained with the following exceptions. - NO alum side pans Plating may be removed to facilitate soldering of chassis parts. Rear axle tube and /or wire brace may be added. Motor may be soldered in place. Rear axle height may be altered proved no material other than plating is removed. Body tape may be used to aid in chassis performance. Front axle maximum diameter 0.062” Front wheel retainers may be substituted or soldered in place. Front axle may be soldered in place or braced to prevent rotation.

Rear axle
1/8 or 3/32 solid only Oilite type bushings only may be glued or soldered in place.

Gears
Any unmodified 48 or 64 D.P. gears.

Motor
JK Hawk 7 Only
NO MODIFICATIONS AT ALL
Any signs of tampering the car will be DQ


Race Rules
There will be no track calls unless there is a track fault. Just slow down for the local yellow flag.
2 driver teams with 1 member expected to be marshaling at all times. If that is the pit crew then the driver needs to fulfill the marshal duties.

Had a great event thanks to all that raced. Well done to Wombat Racing (Jim Ogilvie and Col Neaton) for making it 2 in a row. Very close racing with both cars equal on laps going into the last bracket. Col showing his years of experience to hold on for the win. Special mention to the 3 kids and the mom that raced today. Well done on finishing your first Enduro.
