I prefer to think of myself as an educator - but hey - whatever gets the job done

Hi Guys,,,the small track only for our normal retro racing has been mulled over by us for ages.,,,,but you must remember,,,James made the call to utilize both tracks on his own, without discussion or consensus with anybody as far as I know, and I have been there all the time and have supported the retro racing as much as anybody. We have lost the interest of Paul and Bill from the south who were regulars before the change of , just one track ,,and that fact did not worry James..I have had enough of big track retro,,, and those crappy motors,,,,,,,would have been better with retro pro's and a possible motor change,,but that is just my opinion,,,,,,so I too will give up the retro racing after this year, that utilizes both tracks,,,,,,,,as I have said to many,,,,,,if I am not having fun,,,,why am I doing it. Good luck with a possible quest for change, but as James has said before " my track ,,my rules "and that is the fact of the matter. Saying all that,, we do owe James a big thankyou, for keeping the tracks going [even more so considering his health issues ] and the very high quality as such,,,,second to none, ,,even better than BUENA PARK in LA in my opinion... see you all at the next race Darryl,,,

OK

Let's bring it back a step here.

I also only want to race on the small track as a preference with these type of cars as well as do others.

We need to get together and work on this and find a solution rather than going off in a hissy like some may have.

Let's get together as drivers after the next race in Nov when I am back.

I think the best and only option is to form a driver's association with a membership base that elects a small committee to then negotiate with James (and other venues) to realise our desires. Obviously we will need to nut out exactly what they (our desires) will be asap to move forward on this.

Please don't act hastily Darryl as I for one don't want to lose another quality competitor in my hobby without exploring options to keep you and others with us.

Enough for now as I am a little pissed and let's talk this over in Nov.

Cheers
