I started racing in 69 in that state series - prior to that occasional races in 68 - I only ever saw angle winders with can drive mura motors. 26D's had become history.
From looking at the U.S scene angle winders hit there in 67 - I expect by 69 no one would have still been racing inline cars anywhere.
We used to run F1 cars using our can am chassis's without side pans. With Steve Hutcheson around we were never far behind what was happening overseas. In those days people used to just about build a new chassis per race.
