Slotcargirl, If you have 55 names already it sounds like a tremendous achievement considering i have never seen 55 entries at any major race meeting beore. One can only assume you have been able to bring a lot of ex-racers out of retirement or you are keeping quiet about how many overseas guests will grace our shores for this major event.
Imagine how many entries there may have been had you incorporated sedan classes as well,no wonder its only wing cars. Bit of a pity that there are no cash prizes for Group 10. Unfortunately i wont be able to compete as i have work commitments but at least i now know i could have entered on the day and not have to fill out a tech sheet weeks before the event. Happy motoring.

Hi Racers,
As found on the KW web page.
NEWS
Always first with the lastest results!!!
The first "warm up" race for the Australia V the
Universe was held last Monday night on the Blue King at Dandenong.
Unfortunately they could only attract four locals for the support 27 race and two for the OMO race.
Let's see if we can do a little better for the next race on 27th August.
WTF.... This is the problem having two
kings in one town...

Hi Peter,
Good to see you guys over there are reading our website!!
The numbers were better for the second warm up last Saturday but only one local this time!!!!!!
No doubt this years Brock will be a good event and from the point of view of one who has suppported wing car racing for over 40 years it will be an experience to race against overseas racers.
The P.R. however has been just a little bit over the top - the Biggest Australian Wing Car Race - 10 overseas racers and a total of 55 entries.
Now come on

Even only(!) 41 racers including some very famous internationals will be an excellent achievement. Regardless of any other considerations, a good race is a good race.
