The Large Bold font are the Teams that have definitely confirmed as to entry and membership.

Got up 6:30 this morning and thought I'd check the start time on the calendar before heading out to SSME. By chance saw this thread....

I heard a couple of guys talking about the race on Friday night and assumed it was still happening today.

I wanted to change the title of this topic to reflect the date change but unfortunatly as I did not instigate the topic I am unable to - Steve or Stoo if you see this maybe you could fix it up.

We may have two SSME teams which would make seven teams in total.

Schedule is as follows.

08:30 - Track opens for practice and tuning.
09:45 - Tech Inspection
10:00 - Race Start

Entry is $50 per team payable to Ron

It will be a relaxed fun day - track calls for driver changes as at HSC.

Half way break for snacking, smoking and medication requirements.

There will be a 2min lane change and cars may be worked on in that change.

We will stick to the 4 hour format which means that if there are 6 teams all teams will race on each lane for 40 minutes with a driver change at the 20 minute mark.

If it eventuates that there are 7 teams we can either: -
- stick to the 40 minutes per lane which will mean all teams race for 4 hours but the total time taken for the race will increase by 40 minutes, or
- reduce the brackets to 34 minutes to total 3 hours 24 minutes of racing with the race taking the same amount of time as per the 6 team format.

Personally I would prefer the 40 minute brackets regardless of team numbers to have continuity and allow comparison with the previous (and hopefully future) SSME Enduros but we will put it to the vote on the day.

Here is Shake N Bakes Race Report
It started on Friday night with a practice night the car ran great on friday
We began Sunday feeling happy with our progress
But first bracket in the car got slower half way in.Casey did a motor change
So the chase began as we where last
We worked our way back to end up third only 7 laps in front of fourth,with another new motor slowing up at the end.
Was a great day and a lot of fun,only lost two motors.
