Hi Mark.Multi purpose thinners from Super Cheeap is fine..You dont need anything special.Soak the hub for a slow count up to 5 or 6.I usually stand the donut on the bench and push the hub into it with my little tool.Make what you will of that last bit.Im sure you will work out a good method that suits you.Fregards BRAD.

Hi Mark, Just one more thing. You probably already know this but after you have finished truing your tires give them a good splash of shellite, take your rag and give them a good wipe.I make sure the tire is soaked and actually squeeze them a bit with the rag over my fingers.I do this twice. You will be amazed at the amount of s$#t that comes out of them. Then theres always the magic potion eh! Regards BRAD.

Hi Mark.Just adding to our ongoing discussion. You will still need a couple of litres of thinners to soak your old tires of the rims.It will take a few hours in a jar.Regards BRAD.

Thanks Brad - I am doing just that using Mineral Turps which works a treat.
